ALL ROAD LEAD TO SOUTH AFRICA.WORLD CUP 2010

ALL ROAD LEAD TO SOUTH AFRICA.WORLD CUP 2010

The biggest of game African has ever experience.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th FIFA World Cup, an international tournament for football that is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa. It will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by a nation in the Confederation of African Football, leaving the Oceania Football Confederation as the only FIFA Confederation never to have hosted the event.

Some may have asked a nation like Nigeria a football loving Country could have being the one to have host it a 'Giant of African'......Among the Five African nations that placed bids to host the 2010 World Cup, South Africa was later chosen to host the WORLD CUP.

THERE is so much football action at the moment that it is virtually difficult to breathe! All road lead to South Africa, the atmosphere is suffocating. Everywhere you turn to, it is football, football and more football. football is also the most enjoyable dish on the menu, some has said that it is region that has come to stay with man why others seen it as the most important thing the world has to offer to this generation, the spirit of football is high both in the mind of old and young. The more games our teams are playing, the happier for the “Happiest people in the World” especially at these trying times.

SOUTH AFRICA WORLD CUP LOTTERY SCAM starts up again

Wednesday, 19 April 2006

Bogus emails are doing the rounds saying you have won the 2010 World Cup lottery. This is a scam and to be honest not a very good one.

They have even started a very dodgy looking website which on first glance shouldn't be trusted but you never know which is why we're telling you now; do not pass over any personal information of any kind!

The email will tell you that the lottery is sponsored by the likes of Microsoft, Coca Cola, Nokia, MTN and many other companies. It's not true. Do not believe it just because it's on the internet.

if you have a chance of calling any of the customer care lines of the sponsors they listed of the scam mail, please call their numbers to confirm about any lottery before getting into it.

We've notified the 2010 Local Organizing Committee and lawyers representing the 2010 LOC but that's all we can do to help. Again, do not pass over any personal data, you've not won anything and in passing over personal information you're only going to get fleeced.

WERE TO GET YOUR TICKET FOR 2010 WC {the 2010 WC ticket is going to be a hotcake} remain on this SITE to keep you inform on latest news on the ticket sales.

We are getting inundated with requests for World Cup 2010 tickets, news and information and we don't have anything new to tell you, but i assure you that your constant visit to http://fifa2010games.blogspot.com will get you the genuine and appropriate information at the right time. By writing a small article about the process we can send everyone interested in knowing more to this page.

Basically the ticketing system will be controlled by FIFA and there will approximately 3,000,000 tickets available for the 64 matches that will take place in South Africa during 2010.with these you should know that the tickets that will be sold for the first FIFA world cup to take place in African will be a Hotcake, so i urge you to constantly visit these websites for more information about ticket sales.

Of those 3,000,000 tickets one-third will go to sponsors, the teams and the FIFA family. Another one-third will go to international visitors and the last million tickets will go to South African residents or possibly residents of Africa.

Danny Jordaan has promised to make the tickets affordable for South African residents so pricing isn't going to be a shock. The only concern is if the one million tickets for South Africa has to be spread over Africa.

As of 2005 there was an estimated 890,000,000 people living in Africa which means not everyone that wants a ticket is going to get one, so FIFA will manage the allocation of tickets as a lottery, which this site is ready to give you the information about it when the time is right

When tickets go on sale you will need to visit a special website that will be set up by FIFA and request what matches you want tickets for and the number you require.

Ticket sales will likely take place in 2009 and you will be given lots of notice. The website will also probably go up several months before ticket sales begin so you will be able to gather all the information you need and it will answer every possible question you may have.

Now, we don't mind you all asking and if there is something that we haven't made clear, please feel free to contact us. We are here to help, if we can and also please always visit http://fifa2010games.blogspot.com for information

WORLD CUP 2010 TICKETS

We have been getting a lot of emails in from people wanting to know more about tickets for the 2010 World Cup and when they will go on sale.

If everything was to happen as it did for the 2006 World Cup in Germany this is the expected time-line for ticket sales for the 2010 World Cup:

* 2007 - World Cup 2010 ticketing policies defined and ticket allocation model developed

* 2008 - World Cup 2010 ticket packages set up, ticket requirements defined and preferential ticket sales started

* 2009 - Public ticket sales open

* 2010 - Ticket distribution

We know nothing more than this right now as the ticketing process is controlled by FIFA but we can assure you that FIFA will offer an excellent ticketing system, that you will have plenty of time to register your interest for.

Please note also that registering your interest for a ticket does not automatically mean you will get any tickets but the system will be fair and you will have plenty of time to apply.

You can also read more information in our FAQ on tickets for the 2010 World Cup.

WORLD CUP 2010 QUALIFYING GROUPS

Only 32 teams can compete for the World Cup from South Africa in 2010 and one of those we already know and the journey for that prize begun for all nations on November 25th when the preliminary draw for the 2010 World Cup took place in Durban, South Africa.

The purpose of the draw was to fairly split the countries from the four regions, Asia, Africa, Europe and North, Central America and Caribbean, into competing qualifying groups for the 2010 World Cup.

South America and Oceania do things a little differently and we'll explain that in more detail on their pages.

It's also worth nothing that not all groups do things the same way. For example, what happens in Europe, while achieving the same end result as every other qualifying group, isn't the way it's done in North, Central America and Caribbean. The format is slightly different and you will be forgiven for not grasping it straight away.

You can select a World Cup 2010 qualifying group by clicking on the link above or below and see where your country got placed. As and when the match schedules get published we will, if we are allowed, list the matches here also.

Otherwise, there really is only one place to go if you want all the official news; www.fifa.com.
